The Seasonal Sales Associate role is a part-time, on-site position located in Tyler, TX. In this role, the associate assists customers by providing product information, fragrance recommendations, and a welcoming shopping experience. Daily tasks include greeting customers, processing sales transactions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and restocking shelves. The Seasonal Sales Associate helps keep the store clean and organized, monitors inventory levels, and supports promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.

The role also requires collaboration with team members to meet sales goals and uphold Perfumania’s service standards during peak shopping periods.

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, identify needs, and recommend appropriate products.
• Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) operation skills to accurately process transactions and handle returns or exchanges.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge, including fragrance categories, brands, and promotions.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customer interactions and store tasks during busy periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise as needed, and maintain store presentation standards.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
