Inside Sales Associate

About the Role

Inside Sales Associate works on phone and at branch counter desk to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products.

• Discovery conversations with existing and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
• Calling current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
• Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
• Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.

• Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.

• Competitive pay range of $22.88 to $27.00 per hour (based on experience).

• Partner with outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
• Collect market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, plus inform Branch Manager.
• Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
• Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare job order quotations based upon customer requests and information.
• Communicate by phone or email with customers from time of order to time of shipment.

• High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of customer service / sales experience.
• Excellent phone and customer facing experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Computer literate and proficiency in MS applications (EXCEL required).
