Summary
Provides information and guidance to prospective members regarding center facilities and programs that will help them reach their goals. Enroll the prospective member on the most appropriate membership to help them achieve their goals. Serve existing members by exceeding their expectations, helping to solve their problems, and adding to their level of motivation to keep them committed to fitness.
Responsibilities- Determine the goals, wants and needs of the prospective member by performing a proper needs analysis
- Provide accurate information to prospective members in person, via email, or over the phone regarding center facilities and programs that suit their individual goals, needs, or wants
- Convert telephone inquiries into center visits, conduct facility tours, effectively communicate equipment and program benefits, guide customers through the decision making process, and assertively pursue the sale by building relationships with prospects
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly membership, renewal, and revenue goals as set forth by management
- Attain 4 pre-booked appointments for each shift
- Attain all other daily sales productivity standards
- Solicit prospective members both inside and outside the center by distributing quest passes, asking for referrals, and using other approved prospecting techniques
- Call members for follow up and accurately record daily statistics and other information in a timely fashion
- Assist in keeping members motivated and excited about the investment in their health
- Increase members' feelings of self‑worth and accomplishment
- Know members by name and maintain professional relationships with them
- Fill out all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner and submit to the General Manager per center guidelines
- Complete and record membership sale transactions per center guidelines
- Prepare for and attend all sales meetings, training, and general staff meetings
- Evaluate sales strategies and sales presentations
- Identify areas for improvement or change
- Communicate such changes with the General Manager for approval
- Perform various other specific duties as necessary or required
- High School Diploma
- BLS certification
8 AM – 5 PM Monday–Friday
