Responsibilities
As a member of a sales team, the sales professional maintains and deepens customer relationships and provides face‑to‑face customer contact in an assigned market‑based geographic territory (major and metro markets) to achieve personal and company sales goals for small to mid‑sized customers.
- Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer’s business and supply chain through research, customer interaction, and analysis, and by developing and implementing solutions.
- Coordinates and collaborates with internal teams, such as sales counterparts, operations, and other partners, to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Negotiates fair, competitive, market‑based pricing within parameters set by Fed Ex and occasionally develops strategic pricing for select customers.
- Leverages new and existing technology tools such as internal systems, mobile devices, and PowerPoint.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (equivalency reflected under minimum experience).
Minimum ExperienceFour (4) years of business‑to‑business sales experience OR two (2) years of the Company’s business‑to‑business sales experience.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent communication skills, product knowledge, solution building, time management, organization, self‑motivation, adaptability, problem solving, business acumen, strong client relationship building and maintenance, data analysis and predictive analytics for retention, technology leveraging, account health monitoring, risk mitigation, customer satisfaction, and data visualization for success metrics.
Preferred Qualifications- Quantifiable and measurable sales achievements.
- Territory management experience with CBRs.
- Experience building and maintaining C‑level relationships.
- Development of strategic account plans.
- Live within a 50‑mile radius of Tyler, TX or surrounding cities in the territory.
Monthly salary range: $4,331.25 – $10,600.00.
