Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

Pay range: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour. Commission available for each transaction processed – up to 8% on sales, plus additional hourly commission.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time Retail Sales Associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The role involves greeting and engaging customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions, and maintaining the sales floor. The associate will work closely with the team to provide outstanding customer service on both the retail and lending sides of the business.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items following company procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties that require standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
