Position: REMOUNT TECHNICIAN
  • Performs assigned tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensures that each repair is done to the best of his/her capabilities
  • Ensures proper repair documentation is adhered to and completed as directed
  • Responsible for keeping a safe, clean working environment
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
  • Reports any vehicle damage to Operations Manager immediately
  • Supports and adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Supports and adheres to company safety policies and procedures
  • Conforms to dress code and personal hygiene standards
  • Ability and qualify to drive company vehicles, per company guidelines

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Works indoors and outdoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, fumes/odors, and temperature changes
  • Exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; stand; walk; use fingers, hands, and arms to handle, reach or operate heavy equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the majority of the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday with occasional overtime or weekend required

TRAVEL

  • This position does not regularly travel; however, out-of-town transportation of vehicles may be required periodically.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION

Education and Certificates

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • ASC certification is preferred
  • Drivers License is required if you are permitted to operate company vehicles

Experience

  • Experience with the operation of a table saw and other power tools
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems and their functions on emergency vehicles is preferred
  • Experience in welding, electrical, and carpentry is preferred

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required to provide own hand tools, cordless and/or air operated
