As an HVAC Runout Technician, you'll put your technical expertise to work in a shop-based manufacturing environment where you'll test and troubleshoot newly built Environmental Control Units (ECUs) before they leave our facility. There are no residential or field service calls—just hands‑on technical work in a stable, team‑oriented environment.

This position is located in Tyler, Texas and reports to the Production Supervisor.

• Set up and test Environmental Control Units (ECUs) to verify performance and product specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and cut sheets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical issues.
• Safely charge and recover refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Record testing data and measurements to verify proper operation.
• Identify and communicate quality concerns or non-conformances to management.
• Maintain production pace while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assist with continuous improvement of testing procedures, work instructions, and production processes.
• Support a safe workplace by following all safety procedures and participating in safety initiatives.
• Contribute to 6S workplace organization and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and testing equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial HVAC experience or an associate degree in HVAC or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/control wiring schematics and line diagrams.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and digital gauges.
• Working knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems and electrical components.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Manual dexterity to work with hand tools, power tools, and components of varying sizes.
• Visual ability to inspect equipment, read technical documents, and verify product quality.
