Apprentice Electrician(E3)
Pay Range: $22- $24
Position SummaryThe Apprentice Electrician (E3) performs intermediate-level electrical installation tasks with moderate supervision while continuing participation in an approved apprenticeship program. This role requires increased technical skill ,jobsiteawareness, and accountability for quality and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Install and support conduit systems, including basic bending and routing
- Pull,identify, and dress wire and cable per drawings and specifications
- Terminate receptacles, lighting, and basic electrical devices
- Assist with installation and termination of electrical equipment under supervision
- Read and follow electrical drawings, layouts, and instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs), permits, and lockout/tagout activities
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training
- Identify and report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Support journeymen, lead electricians, andforemenwith daily tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of training
- High school diploma or GED required
- Continued enrollment and good standing in an approved electrical apprenticeship program
- Demonstratedproficiencyin basic electrical tasks
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to accept responsibility
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety (required); OSHA 30 preferred
- Jobsite-specific safety orientation
- First Aid / CPR (preferred)
- Apprentice classroom training (Year 2 or equivalent)
- Apprentice Electrician must provide andmaintaintheir own basic hand tools customary to the electrical trade
- All hand tools must be in safe working condition andcomply with company and jobsite safety requirements
- 1.5 to 3 years of electrical or construction-related experience
- Successful completion of prior apprentice-level training and evaluations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead for extended periods
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and elevated work platforms
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, or confined environments
- Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, FR clothing, and fall protection
- Industrial and commercial construction jobsites
- Exposure to energized systems (under supervision), moving machinery, and varying weather conditions
- Work hours may include nights, weekends, and overtime as required
- Works under moderate supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, or Foreman
- Comply withall company and site safety policies and procedures
- Activelyparticipatein safety meetings, JHAs, and training
- Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist
- Demonstrate increased responsibility for personal and crew safety
