- The incumbent in this position will be primarily responsible for the daily tasks associated with the coordination of Vocational Evaluation and PSAT services in the Mission Services department. This individual will work directly with Program Manager and the Director of Mission Services.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in: strong written communication skills; ability to assist and train participants, to write legibly, articulate supporting documentation on participants; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; possess exemplary customer/consumer service skills; obtain and maintain professional relationship with State and Local granters; core computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to work well in a team environment;
ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Coordinate and document the training process of new PSAT/Vocational Evaluation participants, as well as ongoing training to existing participants
- Conduct Vocational and PSAT evaluations including assessments, standardized tests, work samples, observations etc.
- Submit written reports in a timely manner per agency guidelines
- Obtain the UNT Job Skills Training certification within 3 months of position and maintain required yearly CEU's
- Maintain current system with updates and changes
- Ensure that paper and computer files are complete, accurate and current
- Attend all meetings as required (including CARF)
- Assist in WAT Trainer, Job Coaching and Youth services if no participants are active in Vocational Evaluations and PSAT services
- Provide administrative support to management
- Provide updates to Manager and Director of Mission Services on a consistent basis regarding services and participants
- Participate in Mission Services staff meetings and provide updates on participants
- Audit and maintain all caseload files
- Participate in community development/ events to market programs and gain new participants
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Mission Services or Mission Services Manager

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Qualified individuals must have a master's degree in a related field (for example, psychology, sociology, or education) and must have two years of full-time experience as a vocational evaluator; or a bachelor's degree in a related field (for example: psychology, sociology, industrial arts, etc.) and must have three years of full-time experience as a vocational evaluator. A valid TXDL/driving record acceptable to agency liability carrier is required for this position.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills and knowledge of operating a POS system.
Other Skills and Abilities
Bilingual skills a plus.
