  • Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day
  • Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.
  • Our three renewables’ plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle to deliver commercial products as required. Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols.

All activities will be performed in support of the strategy and vision of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of experience in a related field (Required)
  • Required Certifications/L disclosures:
    Must maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to wear required PPE; must pass all DOT and Motor Carrier Safety requirements; work/drive in a variety of weather conditions; sitting for long periods; pass job-specific work steps
  • Receives from Truck Dispatcher delivery schedule; organizes for delivery route and makes all required preparations for delivery
  • Perform pre-delivery trip check on tank truck following DOT safety specifications; fuels; check truck for general operating requirements; ensure all required equipment is available and in good operating condition
  • Drives a tank truck and trailer or tractor/trailer to customer’s location; connects hose to tank and opens valves; reads gauges; records amounts delivered; leaves delivery ticket receipt with customer
  • Checks truck to determine if repairs are necessary
  • Maintains good customer contact skills in handling customer questions or schedules; calls customers before loading/leaving load rack to confirm readiness
  • Maintains assigned work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Follows safety rules and operating procedures for facilities, loading rack, and customer premises; follows traffic laws and DOT regulations
  • Occasional physical tasks: climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds (1-33% of shift)
