Baker & Delivery Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking Bakers and Delivery Drivers for our Crumbl Bakery located in the Cumberland Shopping Center in S Tyler. The bakery operates Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm, closed Sundays.

• Reading and understanding recipes.
• Decorating and displaying finished products.
• Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure each item meets food safety and quality controls.
• Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Keeping records related to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
• Collecting client information and ensuring deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Cleaning and restocking workstations, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for the next shift.

• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create baked goods.
• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment; stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods (50+ pounds).

• Operating a motor vehicle such as cars or trucks for delivery purposes.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to confirm completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service and handling complaints.
• Following assigned routes and schedules.
• Adhering to transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents related to deliveries.

• Minimum 18 years of age with at least two years of clean driving history.
• Valid driver's license and insurance issued by the state of employment.
• Experience may be required or preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Bakers: $11.00 to $14.00 per hour.
• Delivery Drivers: hourly rate not specified; aligns with company standards.
• Tips:
  Bakers receive an even split tip pool that varies by location and sales volume; tips may increase during busy season.
