Cart Delivery Driver

The Cart Delivery Driver operates a company pickup truck with a 16‑foot trailer equipped with a drop‑down ramp. In this role, you’ll be responsible for loading, delivering, collecting, repairing, and unloading residential roll carts at customer locations. This is an entry‑level, non‑CDL driving role.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
• Immediately report any unsafe situations or service‑related issues to the route manager or dispatch.
• Participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by Live Oak Environmental or the route manager.
• Work closely with route managers to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notify the route manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notify route manager or dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, street, alleyways, or potential safety hazards.
• Communicate customer requests to the route manager or dispatch.
• Frequently enter and exit both the cab and trailer to manually/physically deliver new empty roll carts and collect material‑loaded roll carts weighing in excess of 65 pounds.
• Work daily with the routing team and dispatchers to ensure efficient sequential orders for delivery and removals.
• Work daily with the local on‑site cart maintenance team to ensure proper cart inventory needs.
• Complete and submit customer tickets as required, using on‑board computer technology.
• Complete basic field service repairs on carts, such as lid swaps and axle/wheel repairs.
• Complete site evaluations to ensure locations are conducive for safe and proper servicing.
• Deliver carts on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures safe and easy recovery by the customer.
• Follow route assignments as directed and complete end‑of‑day documentation and the check‑out process.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by the route manager or dispatch and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

Education:

Not required.

• Hold a current Driver's License.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen.
