Position: Driver / Warehouse- HOLT Truck Centers

Overview

The Parts Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, maintains inventory control, and ensures a safe and secure environment. The position also involves stocking parts in the dealership warehouse, performing cycle counting, pulling orders, dirty core processing, and general warehouse duties.

Incidently, the employee is expected to model the company’s mission and values daily, collaborate with key resources, and engage in ongoing self-development.

Responsibilities
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools to align with vision, values, and mission.
  • Delivers to customers safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Ensures proper inventory control.
  • Guarantees customer needs are met and issues addressed.
  • Pulls correct items for delivery orders.
  • Loads orders properly into delivery vehicle.
  • Maintains vehicle condition and reports needed repairs.
  • Verifies orders for correct pulls.
  • Returns cores for credit.
  • Returns incorrectly ordered parts.
  • Stocks shelves as needed.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Delivers orders on time.
  • Ensures orders are accurate before delivery.
  • Quickly resolves erroneous parts deliveries.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
  • Works safely and complies with all safety policies and company procedures.
  • Performs other assigned duties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • General knowledge of trucking industry helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • General understanding of inventory management.
Requirements Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Some delivery experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Travel:
  • Travel locally up to 100%.
Physical Requirements:
  • Employee required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist.
  • Employee may need to climb and/or lift up to 80 lbs. frequently.
  • Visual requirements are constant.
Work Environment:
  • Duties performed indoors and outdoors.
  • Employee exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, wetness, humidity, and sometimes darkness.
