Cylinder Handler Loader - Tyler, TX

Position Summary

This position is responsible for loading and unloading cylinders on vehicles, shipping and receiving of cylinders, cylinder staging and limited customer service. It includes moving cylinders to other designated destinations while ensuring accuracy and safety of the product. The role reports to the Site or Operations Manager/Supervisor and involves interacting with customers, sales, management, and other operations personnel.

• Loading and unloading cylinders on assigned trucks, tractors, or other designated areas, including checking identification, labels, valves, styles, and ensuring cylinders are filled or empty, painted, or marked as needed.
• Securing all loads prior to delivery, including checking strapping, proper placement in vehicles, correct cylinders loaded, and verifying all cylinders have proper tags; all safety procedures and policies must be followed.
• Material handling of cylinders manually and with dollies, carts, and forklifts.
• Transporting vehicles (trucks, tractors, forklifts, cylinder carts) to the required dock locations for loading or unloading, while adhering to all safety procedures and policies.
• Housekeeping duties for safety and appearance.
• Adhering to all quality assurance policies and standards, and notifying the supervisor of any quality assurance problems.
