IACS seeks a long-term substitute for a full-time 7th and 8th grade Math Teacher due to a teacher on medical leave. The role involves using a mix of prepared curriculum and teacher-developed units to build math skills and engage students in practical applications through projects that challenge students to become critical thinkers, collaborative problem-solvers, and self-directed learners.

Successful candidates will be passionate learners and collaborators committed to the school's mission and invested in the academic and social‑emotional learning of all students. Teachers serve as advisors to a group of 12‑13 students each year, building strong relationships outside the classroom.

IACS offers a strong mentoring program for new teachers and career changers. Candidates should be committed to professional learning, open to feedback, and collaborative.
