Middle School Technology Teacher

Job Overview

Innovation Academy Charter School seeks a full‑time middle school Technology teacher for the upcoming school year. Successful candidates will be passionate learners and collaborators who are committed to the school’s mission and invested in the academic and social‑emotional learning of all students. The school is a tuition‑free, college‑preparatory Massachusetts public charter that serves students in grades 5‑12 from multiple communities. Community values culture, equity and inclusion, and encourages candidates from historically excluded and socially marginalized backgrounds.

• Create a curriculum that blends typing instruction and project‑based units using Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Vids).
• Develop units in digital design, introductory coding, or other creative technology.
• Serve as an advisor to a group of 12–13 students each year, building strong relationships outside the classroom.
• Collaborate with staff on inclusive practices and professional learning.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
