Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and simulate RF circuits and subsystems, contributing to the development of advanced air and ground‑based systems. You will work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure high‑performance design solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Simulate and design RF circuits and subsystems for future air and ground‑based systems, including Transmit/Receive modules, up and down converters, and RF beamforming networks.
  • Develop and maintain RF design requirements from high‑level system performance specifications.
  • Perform design trade studies, focusing on factors such as gain, output power, noise figure, cost, and ease of manufacturing.
  • Conduct bench‑level evaluation and troubleshooting of RF designs and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with Hardware, Software, and Systems engineering teams to develop subsystems and assemblies.
  • Represent the company at technical reviews, meetings, and formal design reviews.
  • Stay current with industry innovations, developments, and trends in RF technology.
Essential

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, master’s degree, or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience requirements: eighteen or more years with a bachelor’s degree, sixteen or more years with a master’s degree, or thirteen or more years with a PhD.
  • Proficiency in simulating and designing RF circuits, subsystems, and assemblies using tools such as MATLAB, ADS, HFSS, and/or CST.
  • Skilled in RF measurement techniques and operating standard lab equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong working knowledge of RF PCB design and layout.
  • Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience designing modules and subsystems for radars and/or Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Experience designing and optimizing antennas.
  • Previous experience working with the Department of Defense.
  • Active security clearance.
Work Environment

This position is based on‑site in Tyngsborough, MA, in a brand‑new facility equipped with a near‑field radar testing range. All Research and Development (R&D), Production, and Testing are conducted in‑house at this location. The facility supports critical fleet, space systems, satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide.
