Tyrone Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Heartland Dental supported offices provide career satisfaction and educational opportunities. As a dental assistant you will support clinical treatment care, maintain patient comfort, manage supplies, keep the dentist’s schedule, and adhere to safety protocols.

• Organize and maintain lab equipment.
• Take and develop X‑rays and provide post‑operative care.
• Record medical and dental history and vital signs.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Participate in continuing education and training offered by Heartland Dental.

• Positive, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Manual dexterity, computer proficiency, and ability to learn new programs.
• Fit to travel at least once every other month for training, sometimes overnight.
• Dental assisting school certificate is a plus.
• Previous dental practice experience is a plus.
