Job DescriptionBe an integral part of projects by taking charge of the realization, verification, and validation of technical studies in ventilation, in compliance with client specifications, regulations, applicable standards, and current best practices, particularly in a nuclear environment with stringent safety requirements.
In the role of Ventilation Studies Engineer, the incumbent will:
- Carry out, verify, and validate technical studies in nuclear ventilation
- Produce or control plans, diagrams, calculations, and sizing
- Identify, analyze, question, and validate input data (specification books, preliminary studies, interfaces)
- Conduct feasibility, design, detail, and implementation studies
- Write definition dossiers, functional analyses, and technical specifications
- Participate in technical choices, supplier consultations, and subcontractors
- Participate in tests and commissioning (measurements, adjustments)
- Contribute to the improvement of service methods and tools
- Ensure regulatory and technical monitoring
- Coordinate with the entire project team
For the studies under their responsibility, the engineer is responsible for:
- Compliance with client requirements
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
- Achievement of quality objectives / deadlines
- Optimization of costs and deadlines through proposed technical solutions
- Identification and reporting of discrepancies and anomalies
- Technical experience feedback and sharing of best practices
Profile Sought:
- Bac + 5
- 0 to 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, ideally acquired in design offices (ventilation, climate engineering, industrial installations), in a nuclear environment or with strong regulatory constraints.
- Previous experience on nuclear projects (EDF, CEA, ORANO…) is an asset but not mandatory.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of industrial ventilation and climate engineering
- Mastery of technical studies, calculations, and sizing
- Technical document writing (notes, specifications, dossiers)
- Understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel)
- Use of CAD tools (Autocad)
- Ability to work in project interfaces (project managers, account managers, suppliers)
- Active contribution to meeting deadlines, costs, and quality requirements
Access to our clients' nuclear sites is subject to an administrative investigation.
Occasional national travel is expected.
