Job Summary
We are seeking a quality focused and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician who is ready to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
This job requires the ability to coordinate and plan work as well as complete hands-on tasks. This position is the equipment technical expert for our business. It requires a self-disciplined, organized, and attentive work style. Working with peers to gain understanding of equipment and process as well as completing tasks properly the first time.
A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to follow all procedures to facilitate the proper maintenance and troubleshooting of all plant equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mechanical presses, assembly equipment, CNC machining centers, PLC's, compressed air systems, pumps and facilities equipment.
- To maintain and troubleshoot all aspects of equipment (mechanical, electrical and automation) by applying Maintenance best Practices.
- To continually improve the quality of Maintenance and contribute to optimum Machine Availability.
- Coordinates and performs PM’s while maintaining proper data recording in CMMS software.
- Coordinate the work of contractors when required.
- Identify and order spare/replacement parts when required.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Partner with the leadership team to determine cost savings opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Certification in Industrial Maintenance or 5+ equivalent years of experience.
- 3 or more years’ experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a production environment.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, in person, and by phone.
- Proficient skill with technical aspects of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience maintaining mechanical power presses and coil feed lines and their respective control systems.
- Experience maintaining CNC machining centers.
- Experience maintaining laser and water jet cutting equipment.
- Experience maintaining CMMS software (Preferred: Hippo CMMS)
- Salary:
Commensurate with experience - Full-Time
