Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to serve as the technical expert for plant equipment. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
This position requires planning and coordinating maintenance activities while also performing detailed hands‑on troubleshooting and repairs. A high level of technical expertise, organization, and attention to detail is expected.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls, sensors, VFDs, and power distribution (up to 480V)
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Identify root causes and recommend permanent corrective actions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and line improvements
- Maintain accurate PM and maintenance documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and outside contractors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, relays, sensors, controls)
- Mechanical experience with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, presses, and pumps
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Mechanical power presses and coil feed lines
- CNC machining centers
- Laser and water jet cutting equipment
- PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems
