What You Will Do- Provide direct support to senior advisors within the U.S. government.
- Analyze and interpret defense trade issues, requirements, and regulatory impacts.
- Apply knowledge of ITAR and related federal regulations governing defense trade.
- Support congressional reporting needs through data analysis and Excel-based products.
- Prepare clear, concise written materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with counterparts across the U.S. government to gather information, coordinate actions, and support decision-making.
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in relevant disciplines and fields, preferably in a national security setting.
- Strong understanding of defense trade concepts and regulatory frameworks, including ITAR.
- Proficiency with data analysis and Excel.
- Ability to be on-site in Washington, DC full-time.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn the nuances of defense trade operations.
- Experience supporting senior U.S. government advisors or similar stakeholders.
- Familiarity with interagency coordination across federal departments.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
