Our clients are large and small banks, hedge funds, and government-sponsored enterprises in the single-family and multifamily mortgage industry.
PPG is seeking a strong manager to support a policy implementation evaluation and to provide recommendations, design and implementation planning for process improvements going forward.
This individual will serve as a strong day-to-day lead and primary PPG representative with the client. The role requires someone who can quickly establish a clear understanding of the current state, develop a structured framework for evaluating policies and requirements, identify and articulate gaps, and lead the client through remediation and sustainable process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have mortgage experience (multifamily or credit policy experience is a plus), strong analytical and process-design skills, project management capabilities, and exceptional client relationship skills. This person must be comfortable operating with ambiguity, bringing structure to complex or bespoke environments, and navigating stakeholder resistance with tact and credibility.
What You’ll Do- Framework Creation: Establish a consistent framework and criteria for evaluating policies and implementations.
- Policy Evaluation & Gap Analysis: Assess the current state, identify gaps and risks, and develop recommendations.
- Remediation Planning: Develop and manage plans to close identified gaps.
- Process Design: Design sustainable processes and controls to support effective policy management and implementation.
- Change Management: Drive stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption of new processes and practices.
- Future-State Implementation: Support implementation and establish ongoing governance to sustain improvements.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience, with experience in mortgage, financial services, or a related consulting environment
. - Experience with policy evaluation, process improvement, governance, remediation, or implementation
. - Multifamily mortgage, GSE, or credit policy experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience conducting gap analyses and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong process design and analytical skills, with the ability to bring structure to complex or ambiguous environments.
- Experience leading projects or work streams, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and represent PPG professionally with senior client stakeholders.
