Overview

LSG Landscape Architecture, Inc. (LSG) is a design and planning firm with an extensive presence in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. The firm seeks Landscape Architects and Landscape Designers at multiple levels to join the team.

Full‑time positions require three to five years of professional experience in landscape architecture.

LSG’s award‑winning practice focuses mainly along the Eastern Seaboard of the U.S. and on select projects across India, China, and the Middle East. Expertise includes master planning, site design, and landscape architecture. The design approach strives to generate an engaging, dynamic, and lively sense of place.

Talented and highly motivated individuals who work well with teams of various sizes and enjoy being part of the collaborative and creative process are desired. Candidates should possess strengths in graphics, organization, communication, and an understanding of the design process from concept to construction documentation. A demonstrated capacity to handle a range of responsibilities and tasks is desired.

• BLA/BS or MA/MLA in Landscape Architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe In Design
• Work experience in a landscape architectural firm
• Outstanding digital plan, section, and perspective graphic abilities
• Demonstration of design ideas and sensibility
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Understanding and experience in grading and drainage
• Understanding and experience in construction documentation
• Understanding of plant material in the Mid‑Atlantic region

• Licensure in Landscape Architecture (preferred, not required)
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit
• Proficiency in land F/X
• Experience with construction documentation and construction administration
• Arborist certification
• SITES certification
