Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Vienna, VA is hiring qualified teachers for our middle school students in grades 6-8 for the  school year, beginning in August. Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree (education degree or related subject area preferred), and possess or be working towards VCEA or Commonwealth of Virginia teaching certification. This position requires the candidate to teach a specific subject in a core curriculum area and supervise a homeroom of students in grades 6, 7, or 8.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, develop engaging, differentiated lessons with written plans, direct students in hands‑on activities, and provide feedback through timely grading of submitted work and trimester report cards.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School was established in 1957 and is a parish preschool, elementary, and middle school with over 500 students. We provide a Catholic education instilled with the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales.
