The successful candidate will provide technical experience while expanding VIKA's Transportation Services portfolio. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams while reporting to the Director of Transportation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning
• 4-8 years of progressive experience in Traffic Engineering and/or Transportation Planning
• Proficiency with software:
  Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, SIDRA, and VISSIM
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Auto Turn, and ArcGIS
• Strong knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
• Strong knowledge in Traffic Signal Design
• Strong knowledge of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans

• Developing client relationship management skills
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Technical writing and presentation skills
• Problem-solving abilities with focus on innovative solutions
• AICP Certificate or Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred

• Conduct transportation studies and traffic impact analyses
• Assist in project team management and provide technical support for traffic data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Develop intersection capacity analyses, signal timing plans, and geometric designs
• Participate in parking demand studies and multimodal transportation assessments
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies
• Attend client meetings and support project presentations
