Design Engineer

We offer comprehensive Civil Engineering design services along with Planning, Entitlement, Surveying, Dry Utility Design, Geomatics, and Landscape Architecture in the greater Northern Virginia region. We are seeking a design engineer who is driven and looking for technical growth and advancement in a dynamic workplace. The successful candidate will work on various projects and will be part of a multi-disciplined design team that includes civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CADD designers, all under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with a project engineer assisting/mentoring you in the performance of tasks associated with the preparation of various engineering plan submissions, such as roadway design, erosion control, and stormwater management design, site grading and layout design, storm drainage, water & sewer design, as well as site planning.

Individual tasks might include drainage area map preparation, channel or pipe flow computations, runoff computations, storm computation routing, vertical curve design, sight distance analysis, earthwork analysis, or cost estimating.

• A personal commitment to excellence

• BSCE or MSCE degree
• EIT Certificate is a plus
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
