Senior Commissioning Manager – Electrical Testing & Commissioning | Tysons, VA | Full‑Time | $172,000‑$250,000

We're seeking an experienced commissioning leader to oversee electrical testing and commissioning operations for complex mission‑critical and industrial power projects.

This is a leadership role responsible for managing commissioning engineers and technicians, driving project execution, building strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest technical standards.

• Lead electrical testing and commissioning projects from planning through closeout
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of commissioning engineers and technicians
• Serve as the primary technical and client‑facing leader during project execution
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of switch gear, transformers, protective relays, control systems, and other critical power equipment
• Drive quality, safety, and operational excellence across all projects
• Identify opportunities to improve commissioning processes and team performance

• A proven track record leading electrical testing and commissioning teams
• Deep expertise in electrical power distribution, testing, and commissioning
• Experience delivering complex projects while building strong client relationships
• The ability to mentor engineers and technicians while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Working knowledge of NETA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable industry standards
• NICET, CCP, or similar industry certifications are highly desirable
• Willingness to travel as projects require
