Overview
As part of Cohn Reznick’s Government Contract Advisory practice, the Experienced Associate will support a team that has delivered comprehensive advisory services to government contractors for over 40 years. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office to enable collaboration and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advisory services under the supervision of a Manager, including calculation and/or review of indirect rates.
  • Prepare and review incurred cost submissions, ensuring adequacy checks.
  • Document policies and procedures.
  • Consult on process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct business system readiness assessments (Accounting, Estimating, Property, and Purchasing Systems).
  • Assist with pricing and budgeting of indirect rates.
  • Calculate and assess executive compensation.
  • Research FAR requirements.
  • Supervise and train staff accountants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the government contract sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, GCS Premier, Jamis, Quickbooks, and Unanet is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAR.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Indirect Rates and Incurred Cost Submissions.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
