Job Summary
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. This includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, offering directions, managing claim checks, and delivering messages or amenities as requested.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette and appropriate greetings.
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assist guests with bell services and luggage storage; open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival; issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys, and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys.
- Consistently maintain all ticket information, including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- At least one month of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes.
- Ability to read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide with numbers up to 100, and handle U.S. currency). Ability to understand 24‑hour/military time, rates applicable to time passed, and perform parallel parking is desirable.
- Operates a manual transmission vehicle (highly desirable).
Hourly base pay range: $18‑$19/hr work schedule includes overnight shifts and hybrid AM/PM shifts. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked; seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsWork is primarily outdoors for extended periods, with potential exposure to extreme heat and cold. Responsibilities include sitting or standing for prolonged periods, walking, running, handling equipment, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vehicles are operated under varying traffic and weather conditions.
