Responsibilities
  • Ensure development aligns with Service Now design patterns and best practices, producing reusable, reliable, and adaptive solutions.
  • Understand business context and processes to translate functional requirements into sustainable Service Now implementations.
  • Leverage platform capabilities to achieve expected business outcomes.
  • Conduct requirements elicitation, design, development, testing, training, and implementation support.
  • Manage Service Now solution design, development, testing, and go‑live support.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to refine data requirements.
  • Work closely with the Service Now technical team to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
  • Maintain and develop scoped applications.
  • Define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition.
  • Provide guidance to convert requirements into design and migration steps.
  • Proficient with business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, flow designer, and notifications.
Qualifications
  • 7‑10+ years of Service Now development experience.
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of Service Now design patterns, best practices, architecture, data model, and core concepts.
  • Solid understanding of ACLs.
  • Fosters a customer‑focused environment.
  • Can communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences at all organizational levels in government.
  • Problem solver and critical thinker.
  • Prior experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, and promotion into production.
  • Proficient in Angular

    JS, Java script, HTML, CSS and XM.
