Data Analyst, Data Science Manager, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Position Overview
is a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial technology company seeking a Data Analyst who is ambitious, hardworking, has strong academic qualifications, and proven experience in a dynamic team environment. This role will be the main point of contact for business reporting needs across various functions, prioritizing and delivering strategic reporting and analyses to support these functions.
Responsibilities- Develop and automate reports for the Business Intelligence (BI) and analytical needs of stakeholders, collaborating to establish appropriate metrics.
- Gather functional requirements and work with product and engineering teams to deliver business metrics for our product suite.
- Interpret business data and analyze results to provide ongoing reports.
- Provide data‑driven analysis to support key decision‑making for business growth.
- Review data science models and convert them into reports for analysis and consumption.
- Communicate findings regularly to all levels of business and management.
- Help train internal and external stakeholders in using reporting tools and analyzing results.
- Set standards for data management and conceive projects to eliminate gaps between current state and future goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- 3 years of experience using SQL for data analysis; familiarity with other programming languages is a plus.
- 2 years of experience developing Micro Strategy reports and dashboards, and knowledge of Micro Strategy architecture; experience with other BI tools may be considered.
- Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally and translating technical content to a general audience.
- Understanding of data management and the data lifecycle.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and tools and flexibility to accept a wide range of responsibilities.
- Highly motivated self‑starter who can operate with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
