The Strategic Technology Analysis Group, part of System Planning and Analysis Inc.'s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services and Secretary of Defense offices. Our portfolio includes the Assistant Secretary of Air Force for Space Acquisition & Integration (SAF/SQ), Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO), US Space Command (USSPACECOM) and US Space Force (USSF).
SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Cyber Access Analyst.
ResponsibilitiesSeeking a highly experienced multi‑module cyber access analyst to join a fast‑paced DoD Research & Development office to provide and support access generation. The analyst must have extensive working knowledge of Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) and/or Mobile technologies, wireless access, and private wireless networks. Will apply systems engineering processes and leverage acquisition experience to provide objective information and analysis supporting decision making on cyber‑relevant Science and Technology (S&T) capability development and integration activities.
Will help ensure capabilities being developed meet operator requirements and the programmatic schedule to include key transition milestones.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility;
Poly may be required - BS in CS/CE or other relevant Cyber‑related discipline
- 10+ years of technical and operational leadership experience including leading teams at tactical, operational, Combatant Command and national levels
- Extensive working knowledge of Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) and/or Mobile technologies, wireless access, and private wireless networks
- Experience in planning and leading Offensive Cyber Operations
- Experience briefing senior Government officials
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for senior decision makers
- Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with writing requirements for cyber capability development and with cyber operations planning
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to plan, work, and deliver both independently and as part of a diverse team focused on delivering critical cyber capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally interact with staff members and executive leadership via both verbal and written means
- Demonstrated experience supporting IC or DoD Compartmented/Special Access Programs (CAPs/SAPs)
