The Dev Ops Systems Engineer is responsible for the applications infrastructure across all networks, providing technical support to make application security compliant and implementing best practices. The role includes contractual responsibility for a 24/7 on‑call rotation.

• System Design & Implementation:
  Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitoring & Maintenance:
  Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
• Security & Redundancy:
  Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Automation & Scripting:
  Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
• Technology Evaluation:
  Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years in system engineering, testing, or Dev Ops roles.
• CI/CD Knowledge:
  Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash or similar).
• Methodology:
  Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Ansible).
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with test frameworks.

• Strategic thinking and big‑picture perspective.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Passion for IT and continuous learning.
