Overview

This position requires being onsite at our Tysons or Alexandria offices 3 days a week. We’re seeking a Product Operations Lead to shape and support the operation of our mobility software products in North America and drive strategic growth and innovation. You’ll join an innovative team that is highly engaged, collaborative, and dedicated to delivering modern software products that collect critical North American tolling revenue.

As the Product Operations Lead, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Operations, Product Managers, Technical Leads, and Dev Ops teams to drive quality business outcomes and optimize delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear stories, epics, and themes, ensuring the Dev Ops team is aligned with product objectives.
  • Run agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, fortnightly sprint kickoffs, and showcases) with geographically dispersed teams across North America and Australia.
  • Ensure product performance meets specified operational and functional requirements, run operational performance forums, and manage incident tracking through to resolution.
  • Verify and validate that the latest product changes from the Dev Ops team meet the Business requirements and are ready for release.
  • Identify process improvements and key revenue/cost-saving opportunities within the Tolling Operations business (supporting major initiatives like the GoToll Expansion, Payments Platform Replacement, and Road User Charging).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation:
Proven experience translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements, stories, and epics in an Agile/SCRUM environment, particularly identifying cost/revenue savings.
  • System Testing, Verification, and Quality Assurance:
Hands-on experience defining, managing, and executing system-level and user-acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered software features operate as expected and align with defined business verification measures.
  • ITIL and Structured Incident Management:
Practical understanding of service management principles to manage operational performance, run performance forums, and track incidents through to resolution within a Dev Ops environment.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Management:
Outstanding interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between Virginia-based Operations and California/Australia-based product teams.
  • Agile and Software Product Delivery:
Practical experience supporting commercial, cloud-native software products and executing service management processes.
  • Project Management:
Ability to manage operational incidents, prioritize product enhancement requests, and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
Location and Relocation

We are open to candidates who reside in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia), are within a reasonable commuting distance to Tysons Corner and Alexandria, VA, and/or are willing to relocate at their own expense. Candidates residing in the DMV area will be prioritized.
