- Perform advanced troubleshooting of network, cloud, infrastructure, and security-related incidents
- Correlate information from Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, network monitoring systems, network mapping platforms, and other security tools during incident investigations
- Work directly with telecommunications carriers, ISPs, OEM vendors, Microsoft/cloud providers, managed service providers, and other third-party vendors during complex incidents
- Validate network, cloud, security, and service availability after maintenance or infrastructure changes
- Identify recurring operational issues and recommend technical, monitoring, process, or automation improvements
- Review maintenance scope, affected services, dependencies, and scheduled implementation periods
- Monitor operational impact during maintenance activities and coordinate escalation when unexpected issues occur
- Provide 24x7x365 Network Operations Center and Cyber Security Operations Center services
- Maintain secure and highly available enterprise environments
- Ensure continuous availability, security, performance, and operational integrity of enterprise infrastructure
- Proactively monitor network and cybersecurity environments
- Provide incident response, cyber defense, operational engineering support, problem management, and continuous service improvement
- Provide monthly application metric data such as service requests, incidents, and calls per application using agency reporting tools
- Execute work schedules to complete planning, coordination, approvals, negotiations, and contract requirements on time
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must currently possess an active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph
- No clearance sponsorship available
- Demonstrated experience working with telecommunications carriers, ISPs, cloud providers, OEM vendors, managed service providers, or other third-party service providers
- Advanced troubleshooting experience involving network, cloud, infrastructure, and security incidents
- Experience correlating Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, network monitoring, network mapping, and security-tool information during investigations
- Experience working directly with telecommunications carriers, ISPs, OEM vendors, Microsoft/cloud providers, managed service providers, and other vendors during complex incidents
- Experience validating network, cloud, security, and service availability after maintenance or infrastructure changes
- Experience identifying recurring operational issues and recommending technical, monitoring, process, or automation improvements
- Experience reviewing maintenance scope, affected services, dependencies, and implementation periods
- Experience monitoring operational impact during maintenance and coordinating escalation for unexpected issues
- Experience leading or managing personnel in a NOC, SOC/CSOC, enterprise operations center, or comparable 24x7 technical operations environment
- Progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT operations, network operations, cybersecurity operations, cloud operations, or related technical disciplines
- Experience supporting a NOC, SOC/CSOC, enterprise IT operations center, or comparable technical operations environment
- Significant experience with Microsoft Sentinel, including alert monitoring, KQL queries, entity analysis, runbooks, or escalation
- Significant Azure experience, including portal navigation, Monitor/Log Analytics, VMs, Resource Health, or basic networking
- Significant networking experience with TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, or LAN/WAN
- Significant experience troubleshooting outages, connectivity, packet loss/latency, or CPU/memory issues
- Experience with topology, path, asset, segmentation, or vulnerability tools
- Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Experience providing 24x7x365 NOC and CSOC services
- Experience maintaining secure and highly available enterprise environments
- Experience with LAN, WAN, campus network infrastructure, Microsoft Azure Government Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop, Red Seal, Microsoft Sentinel, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Windows Server, and enterprise monitoring and alerting systems
- Experience working on a 24-hour-per-day, 7-day-per-week, 365-day-per-year basis
