Location

Job Description
  • Independently manage a high‑volume collections caseload (approximately 250 to 400 active matters) from intake through resolution
  • Handle court appearances and enforcement proceedings in multiple jurisdictions, including covenant enforcement matters
  • Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and senior attorneys to drive files forward efficiently
  • Review and interpret governing documents and client materials; draft analyses and recommendations for attorney review
  • Communicate regularly with community association boards and management companies, including routine reporting and status updates
  • Track and manage billing (hourly and task‑code/fixed‑fee matters) with strong attention to detail
  • Attend occasional on‑site client meetings (board meetings, elections, and related association matters)
Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active Virginia Bar license (required)
  • 2+ years of creditor‑side collections experience (community association/HOA collections a plus)
  • Comfortable handling court appearances and post‑judgment enforcement
  • Strong legal research, writing, and client communication skills
  • Organized and able to manage a fast‑moving, high‑volume caseload
