Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Willcox Savage, one of Virginia’s leading law firms, is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney (three or more years of experience) to join our McLean, Virginia office. This attorney will be supporting active litigation in state and federal courts.

• Assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Hands‑on drafting: dispositive motions, discovery motions, briefs.
• Manage court filings.
• Support case preparation for state and federal proceedings.
• Direct client contact and responsibility for discrete work streams.
• Take and defend depositions with partner support.
• Argue motions commensurate with experience.
• Second‑chair trial opportunities.

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Three or more years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience preparing for federal and state court cases.
• Experience drafting and managing pleadings, briefs, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Detail‑oriented, good communicator with strong writing and organizational skills.
