We’re seeking a full-time housekeeper whose skills will help keep our beautiful senior living community clean, attractive, comfortable, and safe. More than a cleaner, you’ll interact with residents to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness of apartments. Other duties may include laundry service and deep‑cleaning amenity spaces throughout the community. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Performs a variety of tasks which provide and maintain the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms/homes and common areas
- Frequent contact with residents, resident pets, other employees, and visitors
- Sanitize, vacuum, dust and perform trash removal, and maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart and closet.
- Coordinates daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management.
- Competently operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
- Changes bed linens according to established standards.
- May reasonably anticipate coming into contact with bodily fluids which may be potentially infectious.
- Individuals in this position are required to exercise standard precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices when necessary, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
- Recognizes and promptly reports maintenance problems and unsafe acts or conditions.
- Notifies supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrates responsibility for the conservation of supplies, chemicals, equipment, and utilities.
- May be exposed to unsanitary conditions, unpleasant odors, and hazardous (concentrated) chemicals.
