Telephone Triage Nurse (RN) / Advice Line Nurse

Cancer Center in Northern, Virginia is seeking a full-time Telephone Triage Nurse, helping oncology patients receive timely, compassionate guidance when they need it most. You'll play a vital role in symptom management, care coordination, and reducing unnecessary emergency visits while supporting exceptional patient outcomes.

• Triage patient calls, portal messages, and emails
• Assess symptoms using clinical judgment and computerized triage pathways
• Manage oncology-related symptoms and determine urgency
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate appropriate care
• Document all patient interactions and provide education by phone

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Active RN license and current BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• 3-5 years of nursing experience
• At least one year of oncology nursing experience
• Maintain continuing education requirements
