This is a cloud‑native modernization project for a legacy platform, built on Microsoft Azure, supporting regulatory business processes with high standards for security, scalability, and compliance.

Role

Summary:

We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to support the delivery on this program. The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright and BDD methodologies, while also performing manual testing, regression testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, business analysts, and architects to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
  • Create BDD-based test scenarios and automated regression tests.
  • Execute automated, manual, functional, integration, and smoke testing as needed.
  • Manage test cases, test execution, and traceability using XRay.
  • Support QA, SIT, and UAT activities across project releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and requirements reviews.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and the development team to validate requirements and ensure product quality.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-8 years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin scenarios.
  • Experience with XRay, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, and Visual Studio.
  • Experience creating automated UI, functional, and regression tests.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional development teams.
