Retail Team Member - VA

Original X Productions are the operators of worldwide location-based entertainment experiences including The FRIENDS™ Experience and Hershey Super Sweet Adventure. OGX is seeking Retail Team Members to assist with retail and photo operations while also preserving the cleanliness of the space. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has knowledge of guest support and high level retail interactions. This part‑time position may be scheduled up to four (4) days OR 26 hours per week. This part time position pays $17.00 per hour.

• Work with the Retail Team Lead to ensure that the area is clean
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail area including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
• Have a “go beyond” mindset when helping guests.
• Create a fun and welcoming environment for guests
• Answer questions about retail items
• Cash out guests
• Additional duties as assigned

• Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position more than 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of two shifts, one of which must be on a weekend day
• Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment
• Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

• High school diploma (or its equivalent) preferred
• Knowledge of cash handling
• Knowledge of guest services
• Previous retail experience
