Responsibilities
- Work directly with the sales team and customers to assist in the financial buying process of the vehicle purchase.
- Build rapport with customers to generate referrals and expand the customer network.
- Consult and sell finance & insurance warranties to customers.
- Produce and submit accurate paperwork for title work and secure funding from finance sources in a timely manner.
- Achieve monthly objectives.
- Meet deadlines for turning in customer paperwork to lenders and accounting.
- Secure and handle customer money during the vehicle transaction and turn it into accounting entries.
- Adhere to all local and national regulations and advise the sales team on new and recently changed state laws associated with vehicle purchasing.
- Partner with service advisors to assist customers with purchasing extended warranties when needed.
- Create and maintain customer relationships.
- Maintain an impeccable reputation with lenders and vendors.
- Present the finance and insurance menu, explaining warranty packages to customers.
- Assist sales professionals with customers when needed to explain lending options and warranties.
- Build relationships with local and national banks and manufacturer representatives and meet with them monthly.
- Demonstrate advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and dealership management systems.
- Be detail‑oriented and able to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Think strategically to find solutions for every customer when needed.
- Be self‑motivated and a strong team player.
- Understand title and tag laws; DMV regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Track record of impeccable customer service ratings.
