Electrical Crew LeaderPlans, organizes, and schedules crews to complete assigned work orders, including assigning tasks. Assures that work is installed in a high‑quality manner, performs quality inspections, monitors task completion, ensures compliance, and prevents safety issues.
Responsibilities- Material Phasing – Organize material by specific areas/floors; keep track of inventories.
- Tools & Equipment – Identify all tools and equipment required to support each crew (gang box assignments, tool inspection, and signing sheet records).
- Information Packages – Each crew activity must have information packages (contract drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, etc.).
- Break Management – Keep control of breaks (personal, smoking, conversation time).
- Daily Hour/Unit Reports – Submit hours/units daily for each employee assigned to foreman on the established time sheet.
- Quality Control Inspections – Follow established QC plan and check‑lists.
- Professional Installation – Responsible for installing work in a professional manner and high‑quality standard.
- Maintain Accurate As‑Built Drawings – Update and log onto master record contract drawings at least once a week.
- Tool & Equipment Inventory – Inventory all tools & equipment at day's end; submit sheets every Monday.
- Lost/Stolen/Damage Tool Report – Document and report as required.
- AHA’s – Review, sign, and store all AHA’s related to foreman’s scope of work at gang box.
- Support Equipment Inspection – Submit daily equipment inspection sheets for all equipment assigned to foreman once a week.
- Accident/Incident Reporting & Investigation – Follow established procedures; submit reports within 24 hours.
- Cleanup – Responsible for all cleanup related to scope of work; leave areas broom‑swept at day's end.
- 6+ years of experience in the electrical industry with a high school diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of experience with an associate degree.
- 100% travel required.

- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Relocate a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet and climb, maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
- Perform routine and repetitive movements: walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead.
- Good vision (may be corrected); see in color and hear/communicate in English.
- Use standard ladder without exceeding weight limit while carrying tools.
- Recognize and report potential problems.
- Apply general rules to specific situations.
- Combine information to form conclusions and identify relationships.
- See details at close range (within a few feet).
- Listen to and understand spoken information.
USD $47.00 – $51.00 per hour.
