Backend AI engineer

The Role

We’re seeking an innovative and hands‑on Backend AI Engineer with experience building scalable backend systems and AI‑powered applications. Success in this role includes designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that support machine learning and AI‑driven capabilities across our platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI technologies into enterprise‑grade solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning infrastructure development
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or similar backend development languages
• Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Handson experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments
• Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI frameworks, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration tools
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of databases, data pipelines, and backend architecture best practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and automated testing frameworks
• Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working autonomously in fastpaced, ambiguous, and cross functional environments

• Experience building AIpowered enterprise SaaS platforms or cybersecurityfocused applications
• Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as Lang Chain, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, Pinecone, Redis, or similar AI ecosystem technologies
• Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle management, model monitoring, and optimization techniques
• Understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and secure software development practices
• Experience working with event driven architectures and realtime processing systems
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and UX teams to deliver customercentric AI capabilities
• Passion for staying current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and industry trends
• Experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical strategy discussions
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
