Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity for Mule Soft Developers in a high-growth practice. You will be a key contributor on the consulting team that designs, develops, and implements innovative integration and API solutions using the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform. You will help ensure successful client engagements, technical delivery, and implementation of scalable and secure enterprise integrations. You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Technical Architect, business analysts, client stakeholders, and other members of the delivery team.
This role requires a strong foundation in Mule Soft development, API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, Data Weave, and the design and implementation of real-time and batch integrations.
- Bachelor's degree and a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of experience in enterprise application integration, including hands-on Mule Soft development experience using Mule 4 and the Anypoint Platform; OR TEN (10) years of relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or an advanced degree US Citizenship is contractually required
- Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Mule Soft APIs and integrations
- Strong experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, Data Weave 2.0, APIKit, Exchange, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
- Experience implementing API-led connectivity using Experience, Process, and System APIs
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XSD, and YAML
- Experience building real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations across cloud, SaaS, legacy, database, and on-premises systems
- Strong Data Weave skills and experience with reusable error handling, logging, shared components, and common Mule Soft connectors
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, routing, transformation, and orchestration
- Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, Client t, JWT, SSL/TLS, mutual TLS, and certificates
- Experience deploying Mule Soft applications to Cloud Hub, Cloud Hub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, or on-premises environments
- Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD tools, and automated testing using MUnit
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Mule Soft applications using Anypoint Monitoring, Runtime Manager, logs, and observability tools
- Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, security, scalability, and integration best practices
- Ability to participate in technical design, code reviews, deployments, defect resolution, and production support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership
- Up to 10% travel may be required for this position
- Experience in a “Big 4” or equivalent established consulting firm and/or Mule Soft implementation partner is highly desired
- BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Mule Soft Certified Developer – Level 1 certification is preferred
- Mule Soft Certified Developer – Level 2, Mule Soft Certified Integration Architect, or Mule Soft Certified Platform Architect certification is highly desired
- Experience with Federal Government, Department of Defense, or public-sector clients preferred
- Experience delivering solutions in environments subject to federal security, compliance, and documentation requirements
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid-Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience with Mule Soft Runtime Fabric and container-based deployments
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift, or other container orchestration platforms
- Experience with Azure API Management, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, or other API management platforms
- Experience integrating Mule Soft with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, or other Salesforce products
- Strong hands‑on experience with Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, Data Weave 2.0, APIKit, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager, and API Manager
