The RoleWe are seeking a professional, mature and motivated PIC with international experience to join our small but expanding flight department. The Global Express Captain ensures that all flight operations meet or exceed applicable federal regulations and company standards. As an ISBAO Stage II flight department, Strategy has been providing VVIP travel services for our company's top executives for 15+ years.
Your Focus- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company aircraft while serving as PIC or SIC. Ensure full compliance with all FAA and TSA regulations, as well as company-specific flight standards.
- Maintain required pilot licensure, medical certifications and applicable training in accordance with FAA requirements and company policies.
- Deliver a high level of customer service while demonstrating Strategy's culture of safety and professionalism.
- Coordinate with corporate security specialists as needed while planning and operating each flight.
- Ensure that the aircraft is airworthy, registered, and all required documentation is aboard the aircraft.
- Complete facility assessments to ensure the suitability of proposed airports and FBOs regarding runway, taxiway and parking facilities, fueling services, passenger transportation, ramp access, services and amenities, fees, security, and availability of customs services for proposed aircraft operations.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, including evaluating aircraft performance, weight and balance calculations, fuel requirements, weather conditions review, and route optimization. Make decisions to start, delay or cancel flights and deviate from planned route when conditions dictate. Communicate planned changes promptly.
- Complete the Strategy Flight Risk Assessment Tool prior to each flight.
- Ensure completion of an aircraft preflight inspection before each departure by either the PIC or SIC.
- Complete all aircraft operations using pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checklists and documentation procedures.
- Operate the aircraft per the Strategy Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and in accordance with published aircraft limitations.
- Complete all postflight duties, including notifying the company of deviations to any planned itinerary, schedule, or overnight location.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of FARs, Strategy FOM, air traffic control procedures, and aircraft systems.
- Strive for and promote a safe, team-oriented approach in managing each flight using industry-accepted Crew Resource Management techniques and best practices.
- Maintain a polite and professional demeanor as a representative of Strategy when dealing with service providers, vendors, and the public.
- Record flight times and aircraft defects, and provide a timely update to maintenance personnel regarding the mechanical status of the aircraft at flight conclusions.
- Assume any duties as delegated by the Director of Aviation.
Experience and Skills:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and Global Express type rating.
- First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- FCC Radiotelephone License.
- Valid passport, driver's license, and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, limitations, and avionics.
- Demonstrated command of fundamental airmanship, including manual flying ability and precise aircraft control.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to customer service excellence.

- Current flight experience and simulator training (Pro Card highly desirable) in a large-cabin, jet aircraft.
- Strong situational awareness, decision-making, and communication under pressure.
- Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand the English Language to the proficiency level required by ICAO Annex 1.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field (highly desirable).
- Must have no FAA violations, accidents or incidents.
- The ability to complete company assigned training including ISBAO, Med Aire, GET, or other approved safety/emergency training.
- Must have international flying experience.
- The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check.
Total Flight Time: 5,000 Hours
Turbojet Time: 2,000 Hours
Aircraft Multi-Engine Land: 3,000 Hours
Time in Type: 500 Hours
