Job Description & How to Apply Below
Change Manager, you own the change of your initiative end-to-end and ensure it translates into tangible adoption and impact. You bring the initiative to life by shaping a clear story, engaging stakeholders, and driving behavioral change so that new ways of working are effectively applied and sustained.
You act as a sparring partner and challenger to the project team and stakeholders, ensuring that change is embedded in delivery—not treated as an afterthought. You bring clarity in moments of uncertainty, helping stakeholders move forward when the path is not yet clear.
Role Expectations
To bring the role to life, you are expected to:
Push teams beyond awareness into real adoption and behavior change in a way that keeps people engaged—not defensive
You act as a coach and challenger, helping others move forward
Provide clarity and direction by turning ambiguity into a clear path, allowing stakeholders to act in a way that focuses on people-first change
Not rely on communication alone—you connect, build trust, and actively involve stakeholders
Sense where things get stuck and unblock them
Stay ahead and hands-on
Anticipate risks early and balance strategic thinking with practical execution
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Own and shape the change approach
Define and drive a pragmatic change approach and plan aligned with the ELITE framework (ADKAR)
Translate the initiative into a clear narrative (why, what, impact)
Ensure change is proactive and embedded in delivery
2. Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment
Identify and engage key stakeholders with a targeted approach
Guide stakeholders toward people-centered ways of driving change
Ensure alignment to avoid fragmentation and inconsistent adoption
3. Enable adoption and behavioral change
Define the key behaviors required for success
Drive actions that move stakeholders from awareness to real adoption
Ensure enablement (training, coaching, support) is timely and relevant
4. Embed change into governance and delivery
Integrate change into planning, cadence, and decision-making
Provide visibility on adoption, readiness, and risks
Ensure alignment with ELITE PMO and cross-initiative coherence
Your profile
Proven experience in leading change within complex transformation environments (min. 5 years)
Ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable change approaches and actions tailored to stakeholders
Experience with structured methodologies (e.g., ADKAR), applied pragmatically
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the intuition to build trust and guide without resistance
Ability to challenge constructively while maintaining engagement and ownership
Clear and impactful communicator, able to craft compelling and understandable narratives
Hands-on mindset: comfortable combining thinking and doing
Comfortable working in multi-stakeholder, program-driven environments
Able to navigate ambiguity and create clarity and direction
Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required
