Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm (full-time)

Are you passionate about creating a warm, inspiring environment for children to learn and grow? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team in Chelmsford.

About the Role

You’ll play a key part in supporting children’s early learning and development by creating engaging, play-based activities and building positive, nurturing relationships with each child. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure the nursery remains a safe, joyful, and stimulating place for every child each day.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

Planning and delivering fun, developmentally appropriate activities following the EYFS

Supporting children’s personal, social, emotional and cognitive development

Maintaining a safe, clean, welcoming and well-organised environment

Supervising play, mealtimes, naps and daily routines

Carrying out observations and contributing to children’s learning journeys

Communicating professionally and warmly with parents and carers

Working collaboratively with your team to meet each child’s individual needs

Following safeguarding, health & safety and hygiene procedures

About You

Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Passionate about early childhood development

Positive, reliable and enthusiastic

Experience in an early years setting preferred but not essential
