Pay: 13.68- 16.20 per hour (depending on experience)
Empowering Learning is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Runcorn, which is seeking a Nursery Assistant to support children within its Early Years provision.
The school offers a nurturing, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships. The Early Years team is experienced and supportive, with a strong focus on early development, routines, and emotional wellbeing.
This role will involve supporting children in the nursery setting with daily activities, learning through play, and personal care routines. You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years staff to help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for young learners.
The school is open to offering this role as a long-term placement for the right candidate but will also consider flexible supply for Nursery Assistants seeking part-time or short-term work.
The Role Will Include:Supporting children aged 3-4 within a nursery setting
Assisting with learning through play and structured activities
Supporting routines such as snack time, outdoor play, and transitions
Helping children develop social, emotional, and communication skills
Working as part of a supportive Early Years team
Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
A good understanding of safeguarding and child development
Competitive hourly pay of 13.68- 16 per hour, paid weekly
